Seton Hall vs. Providence 2010 Big East Tournament Game Final Update

Forward Herb Pope put in 27 points for the Seton Hall Pirates along with 11 rebounds. Pope also had four assists and one blocked shot in the win.

Providences forward Jamine Peterson was the games top scorer with 38 points for the Friars along with 16 rebounds. Peterson had also three assists and one blocked shot but his efforts were not enough to pull out the win at the end of the game.

Seton Hall came into the tournament with an 18-11 overall record with a 9-9 Big East record. Providence was 12-18 with a 4-14 record in the conference.

Seton Hall was outscored 67-54 in the second half but hung on for the win
