Dominique Jones scored 20 points with 9 rebounds for South Florida in their win. Jones also had 3 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocked shots. For DePaul, Will Walker had 20 points with 5 rebounds and 1 assist in the losing effort.
The University of South Florida took an early 30-15 lead in the first half and held on for the win despite being outscored in the second half 34-28. The DePaul team just did not have enough to overcome the initial 15 point deficit.
